Purpose

The purpose of this KM Doc is to make Support Engineers, Field Engineers and Customer aware that System Firmware 8.4.2.c (or greater) and Solaris 11 SRU17.4 are required to support Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) 3.1.1 on SPARC T4-x & Netra T4-1 platforms preventing unwanted Service Requests.

Details

The following VSP systems (with their corresponding System Firmware 8.4.2.c patches) and Solaris 11 SRU17.4 are needed to support Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) 3.1.1:

SPARC T4-1 -> 150676-05 (or later)
SPARC T4-2 -> 150677-05 (or later)
SPARC T4-4 -> 150678-04 (or later)
Netra T4-1 -> 150680-05 (or later)
