SPARC T5-2
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

 It will be required to identify if a SPARC T5-2 system is a one or two processor model. This document will show the commands needed to accomplish that.

Scope

 All personel that service the SPARC T5-2 or otherwise need to determine if the system is a one or two processor model.

Details

 From the ILOM prompt run the "show /SYS/MB" command

 

For the one processor system:

-> show /SYS/MB

.

.

    Properties:
        type = Motherboard
        ipmi_name = MB
        fru_description = ASSY,MB+TRAY,T5-2,1S   <---------- one processor system
        fru_manufacturer = Oracle Corporation

 

And for two processor system:

 

-> show /SYS/MB

.

.

    Properties:
        type = Motherboard
        ipmi_name = MB
        fru_description = ASSY,MB+TRAY,T5-2   <---------- two processor system
        fru_manufacturer = Oracle Corporation

 

 

 

If system is unable to power up and ILOM is not accessable it will require the system's top cover to be removed and a visual check for one or two processors.
