Customer Actions Required for Service or Replacement of CAP (Cartridge Access Port) on Library.

This document provides the actions to be done by the Customer before and after the Field Engineer service action.

Please copy/paste the following text into a public note of the Service Request.

Dear Customer,
As per the Oracle Support agreement, you will find the actions needed to take place prior to and after the Oracle Field Engineer service action.

Prior to CSE/FE service action the library will need to be offline to the Software Application and Operating System.  Once that is done, the library will need to be powered off.

Once the service action is complete, bring library back online to the Operating System and Software Application.  Verify functionality of repaired components.
