This document provides the actions to be done by the Customer before and after the Field Engineer service action.

Please copy/paste the following text into a public note of the Service Request.

Dear Customer,
As per the Oracle Support Agreement, you will find the actions needed to take place prior to and after the Oracle Field Engineer service action.

-Place the library and tapes offline to the software application and the server operating system.

-Once action is complete, bring library and drives back online to the server OS and software application.
