This document provides the actions to be done by the Customer before and after the Field Engineer service action.

Dear Customer,
As per the Oracle Support Agreement, you will find the actions needed to take place prior to and after the Oracle Field Engineer service action.

Prior to CSE/FE visit: All work to the tape drive should be stopped and the drive needs to be offline to the host/server.

Following CSE/FE visit: Replacement drive should be brought back online and be operational with the Library software and/or Backup software.  Verify the drive is seen and available to the applications.
