This document provides the actions to be done by the customer before and after the field engineer service action.

Dear Customer,

As per our agreement,
Below you will find the actions you need to take prior to and after the Oracle field engineer service action.

We are providing the link to knowledge that may help you to complete the required steps.
The documents are not tied to your specific environment but are meant to provide general guidance on the type of actions required.

Note – A data backup is not a prerequisite but is a wise precaution.

Prior to field engineer service actions:

- Shutdown the Exalogic Compute Nodes

- Shutdown the ZFSSA Cluster

- Powering Off Oracle Exalogic Rack

   

Following the field engineer service actions:

- Powering On Oracle Exalogic Rack

- Boot the ZFSSA Cluster

- Boot the Exalogic Compute Nodes
