Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This note demonstrates an example implementation of disaster recovery on SuperCluster using Oracle E-Business Suite as an example application to be configured for disaster recovery.

Scope

This note only shows an example implementation on SuperCluster.  Though the example only includes an example the implementation principles can be applied to many different applications that could be run on SPARC SuperCluster.  This example shows Oracle Data Guard for database replication and Sun ZFS Storage Appliance replication for applications and logs, and also shows how to switch from site to site with the database and application.
