Purpose

The purpose of this document is to increase awareness of the possibility of duplicate alarms being raised on a clustered system.

To discuss this information further with Oracle experts and industry peers, we encourage you to review, join or start a discussion in the My Oracle Support Community - Disk Storage ZFS Storage Appliance

Details

For all Appliance Firmware 2011.1.x Releases and 2013.1.2.13 (or earlier), you may see the same alarm on both heads (duplicate) for hardware resources that are shared between cluster peers.

This is a known issue and is fixed in Appliance Firmware Release 2013.1.3.0.

In the meantime, we are detecting these duplicate requests to prevent redundancy.

You may close this duplicate Service Request at your convenience or allow the system to close it automatically after 14 days.

Please see Doc ID 2021771.1 for the latest Appliance Firmware Release version.
