Netra CT900 has multiple ways to address a component in chassis.  This doc put them together as a single reference.

  • "Physical Slot" is labeled on the chassis itself
  • "Logical Slot" is defined by the ATCA specification
  • "SW Blade: Base" is BASE fabric of switch blade (CP3140/3240)
  • "SW Blade: Extended" is Extended FABRIC of switch blade (CP3140/3240)
  • "IPMB Address" and "HW address" are both the address on ShMM

 

"SW Blade: Base" and "SW Blade: Extended" are visible either via the status LED pannel or "show port all" output of switch blade.  These are direct connection between switch blades and computing blades.
