Purpose

This document will server to correct the statements made is several manuals that state the all 4 DIMMs in a bank must be identical Manufacturing Vendor and Capacity.

Details

Several documents state that all DIMMs in a bank of four must be the same capacity and Manufacturing Vendor. This statement is incorrect. It is required that they be the same capacity, but there is no requirement that the DIMMs must all come from the same Manufacturing Vendor.
