Fujitsu fault code:
11000027
Details
Type
- Hardware Fault
- i2c.device_pcibox_psu
Severity
- Major
Description
-
Fault due to I2C access failure to I2C devices on a Power Supply Unit (PSU).
The devices that are normally accessible are:
- sensors:
- temperature sensors in PSUs;
- LED controllers in PSUs;
- Voltage sensors in PSUs;
- controllers:
- PSU controller in PSUs;
- seeprom:
- FRUID SEEPROMs on PSUs.
These devices can no longer be accessed or controlled by the PCI expansion box firmware.
Automated Response
- If the device is a controller, then all the fans on the entire platform are raised to high speed.
Otherwise, there is no immediate action taken. The platform administrator should schedule a service action.
Impact
- If the resource that is inaccessible is one of the controllers or the SEEPROM, then the PSU is deconfigured the next time the box is restarted (after a box restart or poweron).
If the resource that is inaccessible is one of the sensors, then nothing is deconfigured.
Indicted Hardware
- The PSU is marked for replacement.
There is slight chance the IOB or PCITRAY is at fault, but these FRUs do not appears on the FRU field.
Suggested Action for System Administrator
- The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
