Description

Self-test error detected by an XB chip within itself or while trying to establish communication with a CPU chip.

This error can only occur when a Building Block has started to join a PPAR.

Automated Response

Impact

: The XBUQ is marked for replacement.

The XBUQ is the first suspect. The CMUU or CMUL, where the CPU chip that this XB chip failed to communicate with is mounted, is the second suspect.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

: The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
