Description

A fault occurred during powerup where a DDC on an XBUQ in M10-4S or an XBUX in XB-Box is missing or could not be detected.

Automated Response

No immediate action will be taken.

For M10-4S servers, the PPAR continues power-on sequence with this building block deconfigured.

For XB-Box, the PPAR continues power-on sequence with this XB-Box deconfigured.

Impact

For M10-4S servers, the building block becomes unbootable.

For XB-Box, the XB-Box becomes unbootable.

Indicted Hardware

The XBUQ in M10-4S or XBUX in XB-Box is marked for replacement.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
