Description

A fault occurred during powerup where a DDC on a PSUBP in M10-1, M10-4 or M10-4S is missing or could not be detected.

Automated Response

For M10-1 or M10-4 servers, the platform is powered down.

For M10-4S servers, no immediate action will be taken, because the PPar continues power-on sequence with this building block deconfigured.

Impact

For M10-1 or M10-4 servers, the platform becomes unbootable.

For M10-4S servers, the building block becomes unbootable.

Indicted Hardware

The PSUBP is marked for replacement.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
