Description

A fault occurred when the XSCF tried to turn off the power of the DDC on an IOB and the power-off failed.

Automated Response

No immediate action is taken because of this fault, and the poweroff sequence continues. The platform administrator should schedule a service action.

Impact

The IOB is deconfigured. This means the PCI expansion box is deconfigured.

Indicted Hardware

The IOB is marked for replacement.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The recommended service action for this event is to schedule replacement of the affected component(s) at the earliest possible convenience. Although the hardware may be functioning, it is not intended nor recommended that the faulted component(s) remain in the system for a prolonged period of time.
