Details

Purpose

Event PCP_EVT_REPL_LICENSE_FILE_MISSING is an indication that the MaxRep replication engine does not have a proper replication license installed.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Log into the MaxRep Engine UI.
  2. Select the “Settings” tab and click on “License Management”.
  3. Review the license details.
  4. If the UI indicates that no license is installed, the fault is valid. If the fault is valid, proceed to the option below. If the license details indicate that a valid license is installed with a Licensed capacity of greater than 1GB, then the fault is NOT valid. If the fault is not valid please contact the TSC.

If the fault is valid there is one option to resolve the issue:
Install a valid license key. A license key can be installed on the “Settings” tab under “License Management.” In order to upload a license, find the License Upload action box, Browse to the location of your license file and select “Upload.” If you need to obtain a license file please contact an Oracle Sales Representative.
