Purpose

 Provides instructions on how to configure syslog settings on Oracle Fabric Interconnect in order to output Fabric Interconnect logs.

Details

Set the Oracle Fabric Interconnect chassis to logging output to a syslog server as follows:

admin@chassis[xsigo] set system syslog-server ?
Possible completions:
<name> Hostname or IP address of syslog server

 
To set the syslog levels for chassis logged events, use the following commands:

admin@chassis[xsigo] set system loglevel ?

admin@f1-4-sc11-a[xsigo] set system loglevel *

  4  XG_LOG_WARNING
  5  XG_LOG_NOTICE
  6  XG_LOG_INFO
  7  XG_LOG_DEBUG
Repeat '?' for detailed help.

To set maxium logging:

set system loglevel * 7
