Maintenance Type Definitions:
Active/hot maintenance
Maintenance work is performed while the physical partition remains turned on and the input power of the cabinet on which the target Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) is mounted is on (power cord is connected). Active/hot maintenance can be performed only on FRUs that have the redundant configuration or can use the PCI Hotplug (PHP) function.
Active/cold maintenance
Maintenance work is performed while the physical partition to which the maintenance-target FRU belongs remains turned on and the input power of the cabinet on which the target FRU is mounted is off (power cord is disconnected).
Note: Active/cold maintenance cannot be performed for single cabinet configuration.
Inactive/hot maintenance
Maintenance work is performed while the physical partition to which the maintenance-target FRU belongs is powered off and the input power of the cabinet on which the target FRU is mounted is on (power cord is connected).
Inactive/cold maintenance
Maintenance work is performed while the physical partition to which the maintenance-target FRU belongs is powered off and the input power of the cabinet on which the target FRU is mounted is off (power cord is disconnected
System-stopped maintenance
Maintenance work is performed while all the physical partitions are powered off and input power of the cabinet on which the target FRU is mounted is off (power cord is disconnected).

1: If there is any physical partition in operation, the crossbar box cannot be powered off.
2: All physical partitions must be powered off, and the system must be completely shut down.
3: It is necessary that the XSCF has become a slave before maintenance work is started. If it is operating as the master XSCF, switch it to the standby XSCF.
4: Active/hot replacement can be performed only with redundant configuration.
