Description

FMS appliance plug-in detected an error while trying to get SAS path count data

Automated Response

A support file bundle will be created. The operation will be auto retried.

Impact

There is no immediate customer impact. An FMS plug-in check for device path errors has failed. The reporting of certain FMS ASR events will be delayed until the next successful polling cycle.

Suggested Action for System Administrators

No action is required. If problem persist, the support file bundle will need to be analyzed to try to determine the cause of the exception.

Note: If ASR (Automatic Service Request) has been enabled for this system, a Service Request should already be initiated. If ASR is not enabled and have a valid service contract please contact VSM6 Support to assist in enabling ASR.
