Description

Cluster has restarted a node after a failure.

Automated Response

The VSM6 VTSS has successfully restarted after a failure condition was encountered.

Impact

The node has encountered a software failure and has resumed normal operation. 

An ASR was generated indicating “FSC00100002_CLUSTER_DETECTED_FAILURE_LOCAL_NODE Cluster detected a failure on the local node.”  prior to this event.

Suggested Action for System Administrators

The failing node was reset successfully.  Diagnostics should be gathered including logs and core files on the failed node for diagnosis of the failure.


Note: If ASR (Automatic Service Request) has been enabled for this system, a Service Request should already be initiated. If ASR is not enabled and have a valid service contract please contact VSM6 Support to assist in enabling ASR.
