Description

A SW component failed.  Cluster has detected the other node has failed.

Automated Response

This node will take over responsibilities for the failed node.

Impact

Degradation in service due to specific subsystems/resources removed from operation.

Suggested Action for System Administrators

The failing node will attempt a reset by rebooting the node.  If the node does not come up, the system will run degraded. Diagnostics should be gathered including logs and core files on the failed node  for diagnosis of the failure.

Note: If ASR (Automatic Service Request) has been enabled for this system, a Service Request should already be initiated. If ASR is not enabled and have a valid service contract please contact VSM6 Support to assist in enabling ASR.
