Type: Hardware Fault

Severity: Critical

Description

An unsupported FRU is present in the system.

Automated Response

The service-required LED may be illuminated on the affected FRU and chassis.

Impact

The system will not be allowed to power on until the unsupported FRU is removed.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

This event is intended to inform the user about a problem that is not typically associated with a fault in the product and does not normally require Oracle Services for resolution.  If the system is activated for ASR (Auto Service Request), a service case will not be created by ASR for this event.  The administrator should review the ILOM event log for additional information pertaining to this diagnosis, determine which FRU is affected and take action to have the FRU removed.
