Type: Hardware Fault

           fault.memory.memlink-uc

Severity: Critical

Description
A problem was detected in the interconnect between a memory buffer and its memory controller.

Automated Response

If the problem occurs during a subsequent system reboot, associated memory DIMMs may be deconfigured.

Impact

This fault may cause a system panic or user process termination, with resulting interruption in service.  System performance may be affected.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

The administrator should arrange to have the FRU containing the faulty component replaced.
