Severity: Critical
Description
A processor core has encountered an uncorrectable error.
Automated Response
The fault manager will attempt to remove all strands associated with this processor core from service.
Impact
System performance may be affected. This fault may cause a system panic or user process termination, with resulting interruption in service.
The physical strand numbers of the faulty processor core reported by the fault manager (fmadm faulty) may not be the same as the logical strand numbers reported by Solaris (psrinfo).
Suggested Action for System Administrator
The administrator should arrange to have the FRU containing the faulty processor replaced.
