Purpose

To provide additional information for message ID: vsm.LogEvent.SWapp.100002

Details

vsm.LogEvent.SWapp.100002

Type:

FMS

Severity:

Severe-Moderate

Description

A SW component failed.  Cluster detected failure & will reset node with reboot

Automated Response

The node encountered a SW failure & performed a reboot in attempt to reset node.

Impact

During the restart, the surviving node will pick up operational responsibilities.  If this is the surviving node the system will attempt to restart.  If the restart process is successful “FSC00100004_CLUSTER_FINISHED_STARTING_NODE Cluster has restarted a node after a failure.” will be indicated.

Suggested Action for System Administrators

Diagnostics should be gathered including logs and core files for diagnosis of the failure.
