Definition of Fabric Director Front Panel LED Codes
Details
The figure shown below helps understand the Front Panel LED status codes:
These codes are same for all models of Fabric Director.
1. ID LED and Status LED blinking green indicates Front Panel Card is running diagnostics.
Each board carries bootloader and diagnostic utility (xDiag.bin) in its flash. If enableDiag flag is set to true, diagnostics will run at POST mode.
2. ID LED is off and Status LED blinking indicates that Front Panel Processor is booting
3. ID LED is off and Status LED is solid green indicates the chassis controller process is up and running.
4. ID LED is off and Status LED is solid amber indicates faulty Front Panel.
5. ID LED is solid yellow and Status LED is solid green indicates Fabric Director is UP..........
