This document was written for Oracle and Partner support personnel.

Details

The Pillar MaxRep Engine will require local and remote support personnel to work together very closely.  The proper installation and maintenance procedures cannot be completed without both parties involvement as there are steps that can only be done by each side.  As such it is imparative that each side is properly trained and aware of their responsibilities.  In addition, most repairs to the MaxRep Engines require an outage at this time.  So having properly trained personnel is important to keeping the downtime to a minimum.
