Connecting to the SC from an admin workstation:

  Use a serial port connection:
      # tip hardwire

Use telnet (assumes SC net has been configured with setupnetwork):
       # telnet SC-hostname or IP address

  Use SSH:
       admin-ws% ssh 6800-sc1
Enter Password: As setup Connected. HIT RETURN Note – At 5.18.0, you will be offered the option of connecting with a secure shell (ssh) only if you have an SC V2 in the IB/SSC. In this case only SSH will work not telnet
