Description

The message ID: SPT-8001-23 indicates that the fault management function running on the service processor has determined an Energy Storage Module (ESM) is approaching end-of-life

The ESM experiencing the fault can be identified following the procedures described in the document referenced under "Suggested Action for System Administrator".

Suggested Action for System Administrator

This event informs the administrator that the ESM module is approaching (but not yet reached) the end of its expected life. Depending on current settings a SR may or may not be created by the Automated Service Request (ASR) software.

If a SR was not created, the administrator should contact Oracle services and arrange to have the part replaced, please follow the instructions in the link below.
