DetailsType: Fault fault.chassis.power.fail DescriptionThe message ID: SPT-8000-MJ indicates that the fault management function running on the service processor has determined that a Power Supply is not providing power to the server. The event can occur for a variety of reasons including AC power, AC Power cord unplugged etc.... Automated ResponseThe service required LED on the chassis and on the affected Power Supply may be illuminated. ImpactServer will be powered down when there are insufficient operational power supplies. Suggested Action for System AdministratorThis event is an alert intended to inform the user about a problem that is not typically associated with a fault in the product. Alerts do not normally require Oracle Services for resolution. The administrator should verify air inlets are not obstructed, AC Power, AC Power cord are not unplugged, or other condition is not causing this event. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
