Description

An undervoltage or overvoltage warning was detected by a device or FRU.

Automated Response

Nothing is deconfigured and no action is taken as a result of this warning.

Impact

None.

Suggested Action for System Administrator

Schedule a repair action to replace the affected Field Replaceable Unit (FRU), the identity of which can be determined using fmdump -v -u EVENT_ID. Please consult the detail section of the knowledge article for additional information.

Details

An undervoltage or overvoltage warning was detected by a device or FRU.
 
The FRU or device with the undervoltage or overvoltage warning
can be identified from the FMRI of the fault report.

The following section provides a list of the potential FRUs and devices that can
detect an undervoltage or overvoltage warning, and specifies the impact and automated
actions taken by the platform or domain in response to the fault.


  SPARC Enterprise M3000 platform:


      Fan Backplane (FANBP_B):

         No immediate action is taken because of this fault.
         Nothing is deconfigured.



   SPARC Enterprise M4000/M5000 platforms:

      Clock Unit (CLKU):

         No immediate action is taken because of this fault.
         
         If the Clock Unit is the active Clock Unit,
         then the administrator should use the "clockboard" command
         to switch to the standby clockboard at the next platform powerup.




The recommended service action for this event is to schedule the replacement of the affected FRU.
