Description
- A problem was detected for a PCIEX device.
Automated Response
- One or more device instances may be disabled
Impact
- Loss of services provided by the device instances associated with this fault
Suggested Action for System Administrator
- There are non-hardware issues that can cause this error that must be ruled out prior to scheduling a repair procedure to replace the affected device. Use fmadm faulty to identify the device or contact Oracle for support.
- Product Specific Issues:
- T-Series - Refer to doc 1627528.1 for the T-series servers reporting fault event PCIEX-8000-0A and there are SCSI command timeouts against all internal disks.
- Emulex FC HBA - Refer to doc 1558092.1 for issues seen on the error occuring on Emulex FC HBAs.
- FMA logs from Solaris and ILOM may be necessary to resolve this fault.
