Message ID: SPX86-8000-55 indicates that the ILOM fault manager has received
an error report indicating a loss of AC input to a power supply has been detected.
The power supply fail status info is provided by the power supply and is read by the service processor.
The power supply internal circuitry will illuminate the service-required LED indicator
on the affected power supply, but the power supply is not actually at fault.
The service processor monitors the fail status and, when asserted, also will illuminate the chassis-wide service required LED.
The ILOM CLI will display the status of the chassis wide service-required LED indicator as: /SYS/SERVICE = On
Server will be powered down when there are insufficient operational power supplies.
The power supply is not at fault.
Administrator should investigate the cause of AC power loss.
Refer to the service label located on top cover for the location of power supplies.
Refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content in preparation for submitting a service request and applying any post-repair actions that may be required.
