FMD-8000-4M - Repair of problems
Repair of problems
Type
- Repair
- list.repaired
Severity
- Minor
Description
- FMD-8000-4M indicates that all service actions required to resolve the problem previously reported in a list.suspects event with the same UUID have been completed. All suspect faults have transitioned to Repaired, Replaced or Acquitted status.
Automated Response
- Generation of this event will initiate returning any system resources that may have been off-lined in response to the originally reported problem to operation.
- Once all impacted resources have been successfully returned to operation, the Solaris fault manager (fmd) will post an associated list.resolved event (FMD-8000-6U).
Impact
- Performance degradation of the system due to the original fault may have been recovered.
Suggested Action for System Administrator
- Refer to the following document for the latest procedures for displaying event content. As noted above, the UUID of this event can be applied to view the content of the originally posted list.suspects event for the diagnosed problem.
- PSH Procedural Article for Solaris FMA-Based Diagnosis (Doc ID 1173733.1)
While the information in this event may be added to a Service Request opened for the originally reported fault, it will not result in ASR submitting a Service Request.
