Information in this document applies to any platform.

Description

SCTP Multi Homing secondary path does not pick up traffic when primary path fails in case of IPV6 and IPFE.

This issue will not occur if fixed connections are used.

Occurrence

The issue can happen when all conditions below are met:

  • IPFE feature is used
  • IPv6 is used
  • SCTP Multihoming is enable

Then, if primary path is failing, the messages do not get routed over the secondary connection.

No patch is planned, fix is planned for next DSR release
