OccurrenceThis issue can occur in the following releases: SPARC Platform
Note: This issue only occurs on systems running XCP firmware version 1115 that have executed the 'restoredefaults' command. XSCF> version -c xcp
XCP 1115 output will appear similar to the following: XSCF> version -c xcp XSCF#0 (Active ) XCP0 (Reserve): 1115 XCP1 (Current): 1115 XSCF> SymptomsIf the described issue occurs, an error is logged and XSCFU/MBU is marked as "Degraded". The error is seen within 16 hours after running "restoredefaults -c factory". The error will be repeated every 14-16 hours. 2. Clear the fault from normal mode (new in 1115). XSCF> clearfault /MBU_A
This command must only be used at the request of a product support engineer.

3. Re-install XCP1115. XSCF> flashupdate -c update -m xcp -s 1115 The XSCF will be reset. Continue? Do not execute the 'restoredefaults' command.
