Symptoms

Customer set drives to ADI and this drive did not load ADI setting; report getting the following message: DRIVE SHOWS "ERROR IMAGE IS NOT VALID" AS STATUS OF THE INTERFACE INSTEAD OF 4GB

Changes

 

Cause

Drive was not properly re-enrolled after changing to ADI mode.

Solution

After setting drive to ADI mode, it must be un-enrolled and then re-enrolled to activate ADI on the drive.
