Symptoms

Upgrade failed when PMAC upgraded from 6.4 to 6.5 version

Cause

Upgrade failed due to lack of free space under /usr partition (78% utilized). Log shows that /usr still needs space for upgrade.

Solution

a) Find the rpms of "wireshark" & "valgrind"

rpm -qa | grep wireshark
rpm -qa | grep valgrind

b) Delete the 3 rpm files

                  rpm -e <wireshark-gname rpm full name>    eg:- rpm -e wireshark-gnome-x.x.x-x.x.x.el6.x86_64
                  rpm -e <wireshark rpm full name>             eg:- rpm -e wireshark-x.x.x-x.x.el6.x86_64
                  rpm -e <valgrind rpm full name>                  eg:- rpm -e valgrind-x.x.x-x.el6.x86_64

c) Retry the Upgrade.
