Symptoms

On a particular linkset, what is happening is that SCTP assocs are ESTABLISHED, but find problems when we enable the signaling links in that linkset.

M2PA stops timer T2 when it has received the Link Status Alignment message from its peer. If timer T2 expires, then M2PA reports to MTP3 that the link is out of service.

Incorrect/ Incomplete configuration for links/route for the particular linkset is usually the cause.

In this case, route configuration is not done for the particular linkset.

Solution

Add the particular linkset in the route configuration (ent-rte) and enable the links from both ends.
