Symptoms

Tried to update the SP firmware and after it rebooted I now get:

-> version
SP firmware 3.2.6.4.a
SP firmware build number: 110875
SP firmware date: Tue Aug 9 15:26:24 PDT 2016
SP filesystem version: 0.2.10

Unrecognized Chassis: This module is installed in an unknown or unsupported
chassis. You must upgrade the firmware to a newer version that supports
this chassis.

 

-> show faulty

Power-off, removed all power cords for 30 seconds and then reinserted to fully reset the Service Processor (SP) not helped.

 

 

We could not even flash newer firmware:

 

->  load -source tftp://xx.xx.xx.xx/Sun_System_Firmware-8_9_9-SPARC_T4-1.pkg
Error reading keyswitch value
