Symptoms

Created a new VHBA for a server vhba1.server1 and vhba2.server1 on the second director, both are not coming up. Have also tried resetting the vhba, tried moving it to another card and also creating a temp vhba but vhbas will not come up

Changes

Installed OVN (Xsigo) Windows 2012 Driver bundle version 5.2.2.4.

Cause

Xsigo Windows 2012 Drivers did not install correctly - in Windows 2012 find in Xsigo_Driver_Install.log ::

Solution

*Please remove the Xsigo drivers package completely and then install again following instructions in this Windows 2012 Release Notes ::

For Windows 2012 R2 Xsigo driver installs, put the Xsigo version 5.2.2.4 ZIP bundle onto the host first, then unblock it, unzip the zip bundle and then install using the .EXE file - this is covered in full in the Release Notes posted above.

Also make sure have not installed any Windows Updates that might have installed a non-stock IB stack.

Note this OVN Xsigo Windows driver version is for Windows 2012 R2. Must have R2 installed.
