Symptoms

Getting lots of gateway related measurement files in E5-MS path /var/E5-MS/measurement/csvoutput/others which are not in use and taking too much space on the server.

Gateway measurements were enabled in the STP and hence the STP was sending the gateway reports to the configured FTP server.

Solution

If gateway measurement reports are not required to be transferred to FTP server then the below measurements can be turned OFF in the STP

GTWYLNKSET = on
GTWYORIGNI = on
GTWYORIGNINC = on
GTWYLSORIGNI = on
GTWYLSDESTNI = on
GTWYLSONISMT = on

The below command can used to turn off the above gateway measurements,

chg-measopts:off=GTWYLNKSET,GTWYORIGNI,GTWYORIGNINC,GTWYLSORIGNI,GTWYLSDESTNI,GTWYLSONISMT
