Symptoms

E5-MS 46.2.0.0.1.
EAGLE5 46.2.0-67.10.0.

There are more than one EAGLE system configured in E5-MS and all alarms from the respective EAGLE system continue getting process in E5-MS normal.

However, one of the EAGLE system was reported alarms stop updating in the E5-MS.

Changes

Cause

The E5-MS server stop getting alarms from one of the EAGLE system due to connectivity issue.

The application process keep trying to establish connection to EAGLE system without success.

The same EAGLE login-id and password has been verified and was successfully tested from command line.

Solution

Follow the steps mentioned below

Restart E5-MS services from command line.

1. Logon to the E5-MS server from command line.
2. Enter command "service e5msService stop" to stop E5-MS services.

Example:

# service e5msService stop
Stopping E5-MS server...
..
....
.....Server Successfully Shut Down

3. Enter command "service e5msService start" to restart E5-MS services.

Example:

# service e5msService start
Starting E5-MS server...
..
....
.....Server modules started successfully.
