Symptoms

While accessing the BUI from Internet Explorer (IE 11 Version 11.0.9600.18860CO) following error is seen :

Changes

Problem reported after upgrading to OS8.7.14.

Cause

Not an issue with the ZFS Storage Appliance - but with Internet Explorer browser settings.

Solution

Uncheck 'Preserve Favorites websites data'.

Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history....

Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.

As a workaround, customer should use IP address instead of hostname .... or use other browsers.
