In specific case the version reported was 8.7.8 when it is known the version 8.7.10 was available. Another possible symptom is that no version to upgrade to is shown, at this point there definitely should be a later version shown as we are past ak8.7.12.

CauseIssue is caused by problem described in Bug 27017760 (akupdatecheck incorrectly comparing ak versions as strings and not integers)
SolutionThis bug is resolved in Appliance Firmware Release 8.7.12 or higher.
