The read code timed out waiting for an interrupt to occur. The servo never indicated that it had acquired the correct track.

The read code timed out waiting for an interrupt to occur. AT SPEED was never received from the servo.

Support Annotations:


T10000A/B/C/D - FSC 376D - These failures can be caused by a bad tape but they can also be caused by a marginal drive. Monitor both the tape and the drive. Action steps can only come once the failure repeats either following the tape or the drive. T10KC Drive code 3.65.103 (or greater) has a code change for the stepper motor that should help with these errors.

Bug 26787276 : FSC: 376D RO_FSC_READ_TIMEOUT_NO_AT_SPEED_DETECTED.
Confirms that this is servo error and is fixed in 3.65.103 microcode release.

Solution

Issue resolved with release of 3.65.103 drive code. Firmware should be updated.
