Full Version with 5 Expansions, 8 Bots, Bulk Cap, Partitioning and Redundant Electronics! Code 8.60. All commands were run from the CLI port on A-side controller, always from the active controller. Also had a warning on the local SL console stating, " Redundant electronics installed without RE License". From other installations with RE (SL3000 and SL8500) we never had a activation file for Dual TCPIP or Partitioning for example. We installed exactly as described in the Installation Instructions, never got any major problems. hwActivation redundantElectronics enabled via CLI just fine. Another point we did all commands as User "admin". SymptomsRedundant electronics problem. Installed Redundant Electronics Feature, Not Able to Execute the Command "hwActivation redundantElectronics enable" SL8500> hwActivation print requestId requestId 3 Error Number 3034 Text Command not compatible with the SL8500 Done Failure Count 1 Success Count 0 COMPLETED SL8500> hwActivation redundantElectronics enable requestId requestId 4 Error Number 3001 Text Invalid Command Done Failure Count 1 Success Count 0 COMPLETED Also the reControl Command is not what we expected. SL8500> reControl status requestId requestId 16901 Error Number 3217 Text Permission for request denied - Requires RedundantElectronics license Object Command redundantElectronicsStatus User Id admin Done Failure Count 1 Success Count 0 COMPLETED ChangesNew Installation of library. CauseDid the hwActivation print command without the asterix *. Logged on with Admin rather then Service. SolutionHave to operate as user "Service". The hwActivation commands are available under "Admin" but not executable. The hwActivation command needs to be run from the A side HBCR card. To the hwActivation print failing question. At code version 8.60 you have to add an ‘*’ (asterisk) at the end of the command.
