Symptoms

After EAGLE SW upgrade completed successfully from Release 46.3 to 46.5.0.0.1-70.39.1, command REPT-STAT-CARD displays HIPR2 card AST 83% (this AST % value may vary) value with MASP card 1113 ACTIVE

Cause

OAM Memory area is not getting refreshed on the MASP cards during OAM card conversion, and after warm restart of OAM cards

Solution

Perform these steps in order to cold restart MASP cards to reset memory, and confirm if any AST % value is present on HIPR2 cards:

(See below examples of BEFORE and AFTER executing these steps)

1) Execute command REPT-STAT-CARD:LOC=XXXX (XXXX=HIPR2 card location that is displaying AST % value) and confirm if a value is present on any HIPR2 card, if YES continue to Step 2. If NO, go to STEP 3 and proceed.

2) Physically re-seat STANDBY MASP card and allow time to return to IS-NR in DUPLEX mode

3) INIT-CARD:LOC=XXXX (XXXX=card location of ACTIVE MASP card)

4) Allow time for MASP cards to return to IS-NR in DUPLEX mode

5) Login

6) Execute command REPT-STAT-CARD:LOC=XXXX (XXXX=HIPR2 card location that is displaying AST % value), and confirm if a value is present on any HIPR2 card, if YES continue to Step 2. If NO, STOP.
