Symptoms

When using successfully using a proxy password with special characters for some time - then having to perform an AK upgrade, the ASR connection now fails.

It is getting rejected by the proxy server: HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Access Denied

Upgraded to 2013.06.05.7.8,1-1.1 from 2013.06.05.6.8,1-1.1

The exact cause was not determined.

Solution

Use a simpler, 'less complex', but longer password, ie. no special characters
