StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The proposed fix to this issue was to upgrade the firmware from the current build of 0260 to 0320. But the system crashes with the same errors as above while initiating the firmware upgrade. This happens at the upload stage. Also attempted to upgrade using version 0300. It also fails with the same error.

Symptoms

Firmware upgrade fails as the web console crash.

Issue with a repeated interface and login message where the Console would become unresponsive/unavailable with the message : error:Unable to Connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to server 127.x.x.x on the op panel of the SL150

The web interface has "Site can't be reached" error.

Tried the same with latest versions of all the browsers IE , Firefox and Chrome but the error is same.

Changes

Cause

Suspecting the KLC = The Library Controller card located in the robotics CRU. for the op panel issue.

Solution

1. Replace the robot
2. Complete the firmware upgrade
